“Jimmy the Sneaker©” enables children to cope with important day-to-day real life issues and situations by “placing them in another’s shoes.”  This concept is a tool that – put into perspective – teaches one to cope with the pressures and issues associated with adolescence.  “Jimmy the Sneaker©” has a media potential for television as a weekly series and subsequently for the big screen.  However, the principal goal behind Jimmy is to subsist as a series of educational/entertainment formatted programs aimed at children and pre-teens for non-profit distribution to schools nationwide.

Shoes are constant companions to children. Jimmy is always around whenever he is needed. By enforcing this ideal, we convey to our children that help is always nearby. Whether a child prefers a chaperone or not, someone will always accompany them while confronting the trials and tribulations of life. Children need not fear the dangers that lie ahead if they’re aware of the sources of those dangers. Perspective, understanding, and education – this is a step into Jimmy’s world.
